Why Use An Agent?
A website will enroll you. An agent will check whether you should.
Licensed agents cost you nothing extra. Call-center scripts and do-it-yourself marketplaces cost people every year in the wrong plan and the wrong tax credit.
The Affordable Care Act authorized the Health Insurance Marketplace at Healthcare.gov, but it took years to become fully operational. Anyone can visit the site and answer endless questions that are hard to understand. Most people who take that route make major mistakes: they miss the best plan, or they receive too much or too little in tax credits — which means they either overpay all year or owe money to the IRS at tax time.
You may also call the federal marketplace and speak to a call-center employee hired without insurance qualifications, listen to long phone scripts, and get placed in the lowest-cost plan without a real comparison of what else is available.
What a license actually means
Health insurance agents are licensed by your state, appointed by insurance companies, and subject to background checks and ongoing oversight. That is a different standard from an unaccountable script reader.
The federal marketplace did a poor job protecting consumers from fraud on its site. In 2025 it finally started cracking down — and, as usual, made the process harder for everyone instead of only for criminals. A licensed agent who already knows the application can still get you through it correctly.
The help is free to you
Licensed agents do not charge consumers for this work. Carriers pay us to educate, counsel, complete applications, and service the policy. Your premium is not marked up because you used an agent. We complete Healthcare.gov with you, and make sure it’s done right.
What we will not do
We will not try to enroll you into a plan without asking about your situation. People on a lunch break often ask us to “just sign them up.” We discourage that. We want to be thorough to get you the right coverage for the actual doctors, drugs, and budget you have.
We are happy to take a couple of quick questions when you are in a hurry. We still prefer to send quotes with full plan information before anyone enrolls. Then you confirm, and only then do we finalize coverage.
Text (850) 215-7001 and tell us when you will be free to talk. That beats phone tag. Save each other as contacts so carriers do not dump the call into suspected spam.

Text or call and we will compare plans against your situation — then send the details for you to review before anyone enrolls.
