Kevin Garvin is the founder and president of Insurance Station. He has held his health and life insurance licenses since 1982 and has been appointed to represent over 100 insurance companies in most of the United States.
Kevin also served in the U.S. Navy as an engineer from 1983 to 1989. He has won many prestigious awards and has often been in the top 1% of agents with several insurance companies. He receives the Elite Circle of Champions award from Healthcare.gov every year.
Integrity over a sale
Kevin believes integrity is more important than wealth. He has been known to spend an hour talking someone out of buying a plan through him when a comparison shows the client would be better off staying on the coverage they already have.
He dislikes being called a salesman. The work is teaching and counseling — truly caring about each client. You will not be pushed to buy anything. You will have to ask to be enrolled, and even then only after we have sent you the plan information for review and approval.
How we make money
Simple. The insurance companies we are appointed with pay us to provide education and counseling, complete your application, and stay available for ongoing service. You never pay us anything. The cost of your insurance is never higher than it would have been if you had done it yourself or gone directly through Healthcare.gov. We actually go through Healthcare.gov on your behalf and do the work for you.
